Community Investment Policy

Overview

Changing health outcomes for Indigenous people

Spirit Pharmaceuticals wants to change health outcomes for Indigenous people by providing high quality, accurate, easy to use diabetes products for all Canadians.

We have committed 50% of Spirit Pharmaceuticals’ profits from the sale of test strips and lancets to go directly to Indigenous communities and organizations through a simple and transparent Community Investment Strategy.

Community Investment Policy

Two Options

1) Regional Community Investment Program

All communities and organizations across Canada that are carrying and using the Spirit strips and lancets are invited to submit proposals to the Regional Community Investment Fund for projects that promote wellness and improve health in our communities.

Regional proposals will be accepted for projects that promote wellness and improve health outcomes for our communities. The Funds will be disbursed based on volume and merit.

2) Confirmed Partner Community Investment Program

Communities and organizations can enter into a partnership agreement with Spirit Pharmaceuticals to promote the Spirit diabetes products in their programs and centers.

Through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) our partners receive a guaranteed 50% of Spirit Pharmaceuticals profit from the sales of strips and lancets that are referred through their program/centre.

The 50% Community Investment Partnership funds are used to promote wellness and improve health outcomes for our communities.

Confirmed partners are still eligible to submit proposals to the Regional Enrolment funds.
